Live traditionally with the shipibo-konibo
On the Beautiful outskirts of one of the biggest
Shipibo-Konibo villages you find Sama Nete - a Shipibo-Owned Center dedicated to teach and heal the ones in need
These are the Family-Grounds of Maestra Celinda Flores Rengifo. You will be living with and among Celinda and her Family who will take care of you, and you'll have your own room in a Tambo (jungle hut) to find the proper silence and peace necessary for your inner-work and healing to take place.
Guest accommodation consists of 4 Tambos (traditional jungle sleeping huts) spread across the family grounds.
Our tambos are built from local wood and screened with mosquito netting. They offer rustic but very comfortable accommodation for guests and a space where you are able to connect in peace and solitude to the surrounding nature.
Tambos are all individual or we can offer double occupancy subject to specific requests. Each tambo has bed with cotton bedding, mosquito nets over the beds, a desk, a chair, a hammock and a few electrical outlets to charge some of your necessities.
Each day every guests will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner being delivered to your Tambo at set times. Even though the food being served in a Dieta is very clean and basic, the servings will carry minor variations throughout your stay with us.
When it comes to allergies and food-preferences (Vegan, Vegetarian, etc) we are always open to adjust and will find a good solution for your needs.
Located within less than 50 meters from the Tambo grounds, a dedicated building containing in-built modern shower and toilet systems are avaliable for our guests to use. The toilets are always staffed during ceremonies and are cleaned throughout the day and during every ceremony until its end.
All grey and black water waste from the showers and toilets runs through our bio-digester waste management system.
Your time in silence will be spent in the heart of the most bio-diverse place on earth. its scenery and scope in terms of animals and creatures of all sorts will swing by during your stay.
You will get a chance to connect deeply with the silence and cycle of what it is to live in the jungle - and you might even get a new friend visiting now and then to seek shelter or spend the night closeby.
